Ojapali - a shamanistic folk dance and storytelling tradition of Assam - an ode to the feminine entity Manasa worshipped in Assam and Bengal.

** The audio samples were from Dr. Bishnu Saikia's research work - "Goa Trance - a convergence" - which was his doctorate thesis from Guwahati University. His research work touches upon the history and evolution of Goa Trance and its connection with shamanistic traditions with a special focus on the shamanistic traditions of Assam and Northeast India*
