"ART IS PRAYER is made in RAAG MEGH. It is also part of Panch Mukhi Raags, the five Raags hummed by the five-headed Sada Shiv, the highest manifestation of Shiva. This Raag expresses bliss, devotion, and serenity. Also, this Raag is supposed to be played during the rainy season. It expresses this emotion of joy as farmers are happy for the first raindrops for which they wait eagerly. I remember when I was learning this Raag I was not in the mental state to be able to tap into the energy of the Raag. I decided to take better care of my health and start working out to tap into the spirit of the Raag which helped a lot. These Raags aren't just notes to be played. They are lessons through sounds our ancestors have left us" (Haavi)
