Sulemani Keeda Remix Episodes (Episode 1)

by featuring Fat Freddy

about

We had this weird crazy urge one day to explore how far we can go while remixing a track .... can we totally destruct a track and then construct it without losing the essence of the original track? So we named this project - SULEMANI KEEDA REMIX EPISODES. The word Sulemani Keeda is a slang from the streets of Bombay. It means a bug (keeda) that keeps on biting you deep inside the ass urging you to do something totally crazy whose consequences may not always be pleasant. But you still end up doing it knowing everything.
~
The first episode features Fat Freddy doing a Sulemani Keeda Remix of Yoshua E.m's track - Día de Muertos (released by Kamakhya Records in November 2017)

Supporters buying this episode will also get Yoshua E.m's - Día de Muertos (the original track Mastered by Oblium) as a Bonus

We will keep on spreading the Sulemani Keeda in the scene and keep on adding more episodes as we go along. We also hope to collaborate with other record labels and artists bitten by the Sulemani Keeda.

All proceeds from sales will go to the Lynti Khasi School of Umsawwar – a small remote village of farmers & shepherds located in Meghalaya, Northeast India- to help better its infrastructure and much more including funding the higher studies of the pass-outs of Lynti Khasi School. The Lynti Khasi School, with its bare basic facilities, is trying really hard not only to educate the children of Umsawwar but to also strike a balance between education & the centuries-old traditional livelihood of the community where the children help their parents in the daily chores of rearing and farming.
